We are hugely excited about South Africa’s new Karting race sim platform….
It is no secret that here at the ANGRi Racing Academy we believe that focussed training and practice , coupled with endless race experience is vital for success in our sport. If it was up to us, we would be training with you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week but we all know that is somewhat tricky.

However, now with OKLA (Online Karting League Africa) we can do just that…. and from the comfort of your own bedroom or living room!

The platform gives us access to most of the National Kart circuits in SA that you will be competing on this year (and those that are missing, are in development and will be there soon) as well as our beloved home track Killarney which has just been released. It allows you to do endless laps on these circuits as well as being able to race against karters young and old, novice and Champions…. all on the same grid unlike real world karting. The opportunity for learning is huge for our karters! Whether you drive Rok or Rotax, you can drive it here and also have complete control over your setups (that we usually take care of for you at the real track, and will also help you on these virtual ones)

Yes you can play it as a game and fool around if you wish, but then you are missing out! Races are governed by the very same rules and driving standards that the MSA use and you will be wise to practice your knowledge and respect of these rules so as not to get caught on a real race day. This is as close to karting practice as you get without being at the track, and the race experience available is of course way more than what we all get in real life…. so use it and use it wisely! We expect all of our Academy drivers to take this platform as seriously as they would any normal Kart Circuit…. there are the Online Leagues to win after all and we are all about striving to win!

One-on-One tuition from the same guys that train you at the track….
Our Academy drivers will very soon have access to our very own private servers on OKLA where they will receive one-on-one race craft coaching from Kohen, Henry, Tate and Jason when our real track is closed…. and also of course have excellent National pre-run practice for the National ROK and Rotax Series here in SA.

For many of our newer drivers, going to a National track for the first time will be a thing of the past as they will already be familiar with the layout and dynamics of each track alongside well-drilled driver techniques from our Champion Trainers at ANGRi Racing Academy. We are also setting up a large sim-rig installation at ANGRiRacing HQ (Rivergate Park) for those who are not lucky enough to have rigs at home to come and drive when they are not at the track…. and of course ANGRi Esports have developed a range of Karting sim rigs readily available for purchase in our SHOP or in our showroom at ANGRi HQ. Our new ANGRi Kart specific sims-rigs (‘Black Series’ KARTPRO) are now available which mimic a kart’s stance and driving position as well as making use of actual kart seats for focussed online training. So what is there to race? .
There are Kart Racing Leagues, Ranked Racing as well as official practice servers to fine tune your karting skills.

*NB: Never drive onto the scale with your kart on a real track. You will find yourself in hot water! All karts must be pushed onto the Weighbridge.

*The game is only available on pc platform and not on consoles due to external mods being added into the game files such as (tracks, kart paints, suits and dashes)

I HAVE MY HARDWARE… WHAT NEXT?

Step 1: download STEAM and create an account

Step 2: Purchase Kart Racing Pro in the STEAM store. (It should cost around R220 unless you are lucky to find it on sale).

Step 3: To start racing and gain access to all laser scanned tracks on the AAO/OKLA platform visit https://aaoesports.com/

Step 4: Sign up on the Against All Odds Esports website and add all your required information.

Step 5: Head over to the membership tab and select any of the AAO membership options anything from 1-month up until 24-month memberships.

Once your membership registration has been received by the OKLA team they will respond with an email confirming your registration and giving you all of required information on how to install the extra mods and provide you with any assistance related to the OKLA Kart racing Sim platform.

Step 6: Make sure you mod your kart with the ANGRiRacing kart livery and get racing!

Step 7: Remember to come back to the real track sometimes!
